AEW: Miro Absence Update, Dax Harwood on FTR’s AEW Future & Plans, Dark Results

Miro’s Lengthy Absence from AEW Update

As noted before, Miro has been absent from AEW since this past September. The reason for Miro’s absence is currently believed to be due to creative plans issues between the two sides over Miro’s reluctant to agree to any of the plans presented to him.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Miro had been in his home country of Bulgaria for over a month with his wife CJ Perry, former Lana in WWE, spending some time with him there.

Dax Harwood Comments on FTR’s Future in AEW

A recent episode of the FTR with Dax Harwood podcast featured co-host Dax Harwood’s thoughts on FTR’s future in AEW and how he would like FTR to be presented in the company.

“If we stick around in AEW after the thing with the Gunn’s is over with, we have to be presented as main event level guys. We have to be presented, no pun intended, as top guys. We need to work with main event level talent, because if we don’t, and if we don’t get an opportunity to sink our teeth, FTR’s teeth into something that people perceive to be main event level stuff, main event quality stuff, then the same thing that happened last year is going to happen this year I feel. So, for me, like for example you know, it seems like the Blackpool Combat Club kind of have a new attitude and they’re, you know, they look at things differently now than they did just few weeks ago and the people don’t really like them for it. And Moxley has been presented as a main event level guy for you know, three years straight here in AEW. But outside of even AEW before that, he was presented as a main event level guy there so he’s got a built in equity. And so, I feel that if, you know, after us and the Gunn’s are done and we stuck around with AEW, we need to work with someone like that. You know we need to work with like a Mox and Claudio. You know, I guess I’ll say it and see what happens or what gets said but, I think right now is the perfect opportunity for FTR to work with the Young Bucks and get an actual angle, an actual feud and see who really is the best tag team in the world. That’s something that I think in AEW, should happen.”
