Minoru Suzuki Comments on Current NJPW Career Goals & Favorite Career Moment

Wrestling with Honor recently held a Q&A interview with Minoru Suzuki. One of the topics discussed included Suzuki’s current goals for his career in New Japan Pro Wrestling.

“Of course, I’m still aiming for IWGP. That is one of the reasons why I continue to fight in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.”

Suzuki also gave his thoughts about his favorite moment from his wrestling career.

“I am proud to have met Yoshiaki Fujiwara and practiced with him… I met Mr. Karl Gotch, practiced with him, learned a lot from him, and most importantly became friends… And the most important thing is that I am still alive as a wrestler.”

Suzuki also gave his thoughts about wanting to have a match with Chris Jericho at some point in the future.

“I think there are still many more (things I can do in pro wrestling). But I hope in the near future, I can fight Chris Jericho.”


Full Card for Stardom All Star Grand Queendom 2023

Stardom recently announced the full card for their All Star Grand Queendom 2023 event, which takes place on April 23rd at the Yokohama Arena in Yokohama, Japan.

This event will feature the first ever IWGP Women’s Championship match at a Stardom event in Stardom history.

Misc. Wrestling News & Notes

As noted before, Tessa Blanchard was involved in several past controversial incidents regarding of allegations of bullying and the usage of racial slurs by Blanchard towards other women wrestlers. In regards to the usage of racial slurs, indie wrestler La Rosa Negra was revealed to have been the target of these slurs by Blanchard. La Rosa Negra recently stated on Twitter that she and Blanchard recently met together and managed to hash out their issues with each other.

Paramount Global Content Distribution announced that they have recently signed a television contract with MX Player to air Women’s of Wrestling’s weekly WOW TV series in India starting this Saturday.

Stardom’s event on Thursday in Sendai, Japan featured former WWE NXT talent Jessi Kamea making her surprise debut for the company. Kamea, now known under the ring name of Jessie, was revealed as the newest member of Club Venus and competed in a 6-Women Tag Team match with fellow stable members Mariah May and Xena against STARS (Hanan, Koguma & Saya Iida), which was won by Club Venus.

Clark Connors’ current contract with New Japan Pro Wrestling reportedly is for one-year in length, according to Fightful Select.

In a recent interview with Dark Puroresu Flowsion, Kota Ibushi gave his thoughts on the next direction of his career following his departure from New Japan Pro Wrestling this past January. Ibushi stated “I don’t want to go out normally, I want to go out seriously. I think I’m more suited to AEW than Japan. I already thought so during All In. I have many friends. There are even the best tag partners.”

Major League Wrestling’s War Chamber 2023 event on Thursday in New York City, New York featured three new champions crowned. These were AKIRA defeating Lince Dorado and Lio Rush to become the new MLW World Middleweight Champion, Delmi Exo defeated Taya Valkyrie to become the new MLW Featherweight Champion, and Jacob Fatu defeated John Hennigan to become the new MLW National Openweight Champion.

MLW reportedly is currently working on plans to hold their next pay-per-view event this summer, according to PWInsider.

As noted before, Mickie James recently suffered a rib injury and her status for this month’s Rebellion 2023 event for Impact Wrestling is currently in doubt. Impact recently announced that Mickie James will be making an official announcement on next Thursday’s Impact! show regarding her status for their upcoming Rebellion 2023 event on April 16th in Toronto, Canada.

Impact also recently announced four new matches and one updated match for the card of their Rebellion 2023 event on April 16th in Toronto:
