Former indies and Impact Wrestling wrestler Jessica McKay, also formerly known as Billie Kay in WWE, recently announced on Instagram that she is pregnant and is currently expecting the birth of her first child this December.
NJPW Announces Full Card for NJPW Academy Showcase Event
New Japan Pro Wrestling recently announced the full card for their NJPW Academy Showcase event, which takes place on June 10th at the LA Dojo in Los Angeles, California.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Ring of Honor officials originally had plans for Lady Frost to work at this past weekend’s ROH TV tapings in Orlando, Florida but dropped those plans due to Frost dealing with travel-related issues at the time.
Variety reported that Candle Media’s Exile Content Studio and film company Movie 88 are currently working on plans to create a new Blue Demon Jr. Lucha Libre Universe that will use Blue Demon Jr.’s likeness for films, television shows, animation, and other entertainment. It was also reported that the first project for this new Blue Demon Jr.-based Universe will be a film called “The Demon” that is currently scheduled to being production in early 2024.
Prestige Wrestling recently announced that Matt Cardona and Steph De Lander will be making their official debuts for the company at their Roseland 6 event on September 1st in Portland, Oregon.
FITE TV announced that they have recently signed a deal with indie promotion International Wrestling Syndicate to air their live events and library content as part of their FITE+ subscription service.
In a recent episode of the Mark Andrews: My Love Letter to Wrestling podcast, host Mark Andrews gave his thoughts about his tag team match against The Motor City Machine Guns at this past May’s Under Siege 2023 event for Impact Wrestling. Andrews stated “A big dream match of mine has been to wrestle Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin, the Motor City Machine Guns, who are, in my opinion, maybe the most influential tag team of a generation. I’d even go to say more influential than the Young Bucks in recent years. Don’t get me wrong, I know the Bucks pretty much started AEW, but Motor City Machine Guns, they established that junior heavyweight tag team style. Everyone copied it from them, that X-Division style, which became the independent wrestling style. So huge, huge influence for me and for Flash.
