FOX Sports’ Ryan Satin reported that his sources stated that John Cena will be making a return appearance for WWE at their upcoming SmackDown event on September 1st in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
Satin also reported that Cena is also currently scheduled to make an appearance at WWE’s Superstar Spectacle 2023 event on September 8th at the GMC Balayogi Indoor Stadium in Hyderabad, India. This upcoming event reportedly will not televised in the United States and instead will just a house show event.
Following Satin’s report, WWE confirmed that Cena will be making two appearances for the company this September on those dates.

Cena commented on Twitter about his upcoming appearance for WWE in India next month and stated that he will be wrestling at the event.
