As noted before, this past Monday’s RAW show in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania featured the official announcement of a Men’s WarGames match for WWE’s upcoming Survivor Series 2023 event, which takes place on November 25th at the Allstate Arena in Chicago, Illinois.
This match was announced to be Judgement Day (JD McDonagh, Dominik Mysterio, Finn Balor, & Damian Priest) vs. Seth Rollins, Sami Zayn, Jey Uso, & Cody Rhodes.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that his sources stated that WWE officials currently have plans for the makeup of this match to be changed.
Meltzer reported that WWE officials are currently considering the idea for this match to be turned from its current scheduled four vs. four match into a five vs. five match instead with Drew McIntyre to be part of Judgement Day’s team.
Meltzer also reported that this would mean another person would be needed to join the other team but it is currently not known who this person would be. Meltzer speculated that Kevin Owens would make the most sense from a storyline reason.
