Kazuchika Okada Comments on Not Hating TNA Anymore

This past Sunday’s Snake Eyes Impact! television tapings for TNA Wrestling in Las Vegas, Nevada featured Kazuchika Okada making his first appearance for TNA since 2011.

Following the Six-Man tag team match of Okada & Motor City Machine Guns vs. The System at the tapings, Okada gave a speech to the live crowd talking about his return to TNA and him not hating TNA despite past comments he made.

“Thank you. Many people ask me, ‘Why you hate TNA?’ But I don’t hate TNA. Thank you, TNA. TNA made me not Rainmaker…. But good thing for me. Thank you, TNA.”

Trinity Impact Contract Status Update

As noted before, Trinity, former Naomi in WWE, is currently expected to be leaving TNA Wrestling and returning to WWE soon.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Trinity still has several more dates remaining on her contract with TNA and did not finish up her commitments with the company this past weekend.

Johnson reported that Trinity is currently scheduled to work at TNA’s Impact! tapings this weekend in Orlando, Florida.

Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp reported that his sources confirmed that Trinity would be working at this weekend’s television tapings in Orlando. Sapp reported that Trinity working at this upcoming tapings had always been the belief for her within the company.


TNA Hard To Kill 2024 News & Notes

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that TNA’s live gate for their Snake Eyes Impact! television tapings this past Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada was the company’s best live gate for a TV taping in the history of the company.

Johnson also reported that those spoken to stated that the backstage morale in the company was stated to have been “through the roof” after this past weekend’s Hard To Kill 2024 event and Snake Eyes tapings.

Johnson also reported that the Josh Alexander vs. Will Ospreay match from TNA’s Snake Eyes tapings received rave reviews from those who saw the match live.

In regards to Kazuchika Okada’s return to the company, Johnson reported that Okada’s return appearance to TNA was viewed as a “healing” moment after he had been treated very poorly by TNA’s previous management.

TNA officials reportedly recently held talks regarding holding another event in Las Vegas in the future. Johnson reported that TNA officials have also held recent talks regarding a potential return to White Plains, New York for an event later this year.
