Brock Lesnar Reportedly Pulled from WWE 2K SuperCard Game

As noted before, WWE dropped their plans for Brock Lesnar to make his return at this past Saturday’s Royal Rumble 2024 event due to his involvement in the recent Vince McMahon sex trafficking lawsuit.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources confirmed that Lesnar was recently pulled from WWE’s 2K SuperCard mobile game.

Johnson reported that the reason for Lesnar’s removal from the game very likely is due to 2K Games following WWE’s lead in backing off on having Lesnar appear on their product following his involvement in the recent McMahon lawsuit.

Johnson also reported that those spoken to familiar with the situation stated that the current expectation is that Lesnar will be downplayed if not outright removed as much as possible going forward by 2K Games and potentially other WWE license partners.

Naomi Comments on Her Current Goal for Her WWE Return & Jordynne Grace’s WWE Royal Rumble Appearance

As noted before, Naomi, former Trinity in Impact/TNA Wrestling, made her official return to WWE at this past Saturday’s Royal Rumble 2024 event.

A recent episode of WWE The Bump featured Naomi as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Naomi’s thoughts about how she has changed since the last time fans have seen her in WWE and her current career goal for her return in the company.

“I think it’s just everything that’s happened in almost these past two years, and for me to still know that I matter, know my value, know my worth, and just what I’ve done in TNA. There’s no doubt anymore. There’s nothing else for me to question about my talent, about my capabilities, about the star power I have. I’ve proven it. So now, I gotta just do it this go-around in the WWE in a way bigger way than I’ve ever done before. But the challenge this time is that, though I’ve been around, I’m back again, but now it’s like starting all the way over and back at the bottom, but I’m looking forward to that challenge and working my way back up to go against the best of the best. My goal is to be a Grand Slam Champion, and that’s what my focus is. In order to get there, that’s that’s gonna take a lot of work, but that’s the mission that I’m on.”

Naomi also gave her thoughts about her reunion moment with Jordynne Grace being her favorite moment of this year’s Women’s Royal Rumble match.

“That was my favorite moment of the entire thing because Jordynne and I’s history over the last few months has just grown, and she is one of my favorite people to complete with. She is one of a kind, so to be able to share that moment with her, one of my sisters from TNA, and for us to go at it the way we did, like we do in TNA, but to be able to bring that to the WWE stage and to have the fans be receptive and understand what’s going on, that really got me because I’m not sure if everyone knew what I was doing in my journey while I was away at TNA. But from the reaction, everybody understood, and we were all connected in that moment, and that was cool. That’s one of the best moments I’ve ever experienced, and I love that I got to share that and do that with her, and also us represent for TNA.”

In a recent interview with Fox News, Johnson gave his thoughts about if the fans want to see him in a match against Reigns at a WrestleMania event. Johnson stated “We’re talking about that right now. I like to consider myself a long-gamer and a builder. The idea of going up against Roman Reigns and creating, if we were to do something like that, quite possibly and I mean this respectfully of all the WrestleManias before…with all the success and build up of all the WrestleManias in the past, if we were to do something like that, we could possibly put on the biggest WrestleMania of all-time. Short answer and long answer is we’re figuring it out.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)

As noted before, Dakota Kai has been out of action for WWE since this past May due to an ACL injury. In a recent Twitch stream, Dakota Kai stated that the reason why she did not wear a knee brace for her appearance at this past Monday’s RAW show was not due to her being fully healed but instead she simply forgot to wear it. Kai stated “I actually forgot my brace. That’s why I didn’t have it on, on Monday. That doesn’t mean anything. You’ve probably seen someone like Zoey [Zoey Stark], she still wears her brace. I will have to be wearing it when I wrestle, but I forgot it. Don’t read into guys. I literally forgot it.” (Transcript h/t: Fightful.com)
