NXT Talent Dani Palmer Undergoing Double Hip Surgery

NXT talent Dani Palmer recently announced on Instagram that she is currently scheduled to undergo hip surgery this year. Palmer stated that she has already undergone successful surgery on one of her hips and is currently scheduled to undergo surgery for her other hip later this year.

“Jeremiah 29:11. This year so far has been chaotic…scary but BEAUTIFUL…and nothing like the plan I had in mind for 2024…but I have a peace that makes no sense because I know the author of my story. — I have to have a double hip surgery this year, and God is great because I knocked the first one out this morning and it went fantastic! Thank you everyone for all the prayers.”


Bruce Prichard Underwent Triceps Surgery

WWE Executive Producer Bruce Prichard underwent shoulder surgery this past December.

While responding to a recent fan question on Twitter about the release date for a new episode of the Something to Wrestle with Bruce Prichard podcast, co-host Conrad Thompson revealed that Prichard had underwent triceps surgery on Thursday morning.

“Bruce is having triceps surgery this morning. We hope to record Saturday.”


Netflix CCO Comments on Concerns of Their RAW TV Deal with WWE Following Vince McMahon Allegations

As noted before, WWE signed a new television and media rights deal with Netflix this past January for their WWE RAW series that goes into effect in January of 2025.

A recent Next on Netflix press event featuring Netflix Chief Content Officer Bela Bajaria among the speakers. One of the topics discussed included Bajaria’s thoughts about if there were any concerns from Netflix over their recent deal with WWE in light of the recent allegations against former TKO Executive Chairman Vince McMahon.

“He’s gone. So he’s not there. He’s gone.”

Besides Bajaria, Netflix Vice President Brandon Riegg was also among the speakers present. One topic discussed included Riegg’s thoughts about the growth potential for WWE’s RAW audience on their service.

“The truth is we don’t know how much bigger it can get. I think we’re all really bullish on it, but we know that has an incredibly consistent audience for the last several decades. And so that’s really first and foremost where we’re starting at, and then we’ll see where we go from there.”
