Chuck Taylor Prevents Trent Beretta & Orange Cassidy from Brawling & Picks Neither Side in Best Friends Split

Friday’s taped Rampage show featured Chuck Taylor revealing that he has yet to pick a side in the recent breakup of the Best Friends at the hads of Trent Beretta.

Following Orange Cassidy’s victory over Alex Reynolds, AEW commentator Renee Paquette attempted to get some comments from Cassidy over Beretta’s recent actions splitting up their Best Friends group. Cassidy was only able to utter the word “hello” before being interrupted by Beretta who came out to confront Cassidy.

Before Beretta was able to get to the ring, Taylor came out and got in between Beretta and Cassidy preventing Beretta from getting into the ring. After some words, Beretta stormed away while Taylor left in the opposite direction not even looking at Cassidy as he left the ring.

AZM Makes AEW Debut at Friday’s Rampage Show

Friday’s taped Rampage show featured Stardom talent AZM making a surprise appearance and her official on-screen AEW debut.

During a backstage interview segment on the show, AEW commentator Alex Marvez asked Anna Jay about her thoughts about her attack on May following their match at this past Wednesday’s Dynamite show. Jay responded complaining that nobody is taking the women’s division seriously and talked about May, Toni Storm, and Mina Shirakawa drinking and kissing all over the place. AZM showed up interrupting Jay and called Storm, Mina, and May all stupid and Jay responded in agreement.

Julia Hart Suffered Potential Shoulder Injury at Rampage Show

Friday’s taped Rampage show also featured Julia Hart suffering a potential right shoulder injury during her match against Leyla Hirsch for the TBS Championship.

Hart’s appeared to have suffered the potential injury near the end of her match against Hirsch and possibly from an awkward landing from either Hirsch countering Hart’s cartwheel and dumping her on the mat or Hirsch’s dive to Hart afterwards. Hart was seen clutching her shoulder afterwards in the corner and after being checked upon by the referee, Hart caught Hirsch in a quick roll-up for the victory in a very likely audible being called.
