As noted before, Drew McIntyre’s contract with WWE is currently expected to expire before the end of this June.

Meltzer reported that McIntyre’s contract was originally set to expire at the end of 2023 but WWE officials added several months to make up for the time he was away due to time off and injury-related reasons.

In regards to talks for a potential new deal, Meltzer reported that those spoken to stated that the current belief is that McIntyre will be signing a new contract with the company. Those spoken to reportedly stated that the biggest sign of McIntyre staying in WWE revolves around McIntyre being advertised for upcoming shows beyond his current contract’s expiration. Another signed reportedly revolves around the belief of McIntyre feeling more fulfilled over the current direction of his career in the company and him becoming one of WWE’s top full-time wrestlers with Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins.
