Forbidden Door Casino Gauntlet Match Announced for Next Week’s AEW Dynamite Show

During Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show in Bakersfield, California, AEW announced one match for the card of next week’s Dynamite show on may 29th in Los Angeles, California.

This new match announced was a Forbidden Door Casino Gauntlet match.

It was also announced that the winner of this upcoming match will receive a shot at the AEW World Championship at this June’s Forbidden Door 2024 event.

It was also announced that this match will be featuring international wrestlers from outside of AEW competing in the match.

This Friday’s AEW Rampage & This Saturday’s AEW Collision Shows Airing Status Updates

As noted before, AEW recently announced that this week’s AEW Rampage show on May 24th will be airing at an earlier start time of 6:30PM EST on TNT.

During Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite show, AEW provided an update announcing that this Friday’s Rampage show will now be airing earlier than previously announced. It was stated that this week’s show will now be airing at a new start time of 6:00PM EST on TNT.

The reason for the new change is due to TNT currently has their pre-game show coverage for that night’s NBA Playoffs 2024 game of Dallas Mavericks vs. Minnesota Timberwolves scheduled to start at 7PM EST.

In regards to this week’s AEW Collision show on May 25th, this week’s show will be preempted to TBS based on a recent schedule listing update by the network.

The reason for the preemption is due to TNT’s commitments with the 2024 NHL Playoffs on their network that night.


Tony Schiavone Comments on Bryan Danielson Being One of Tony Khan’s Best Hirings for AEW

A recent episode of the What Happened When with Tony Schiavone podcast featured AEW commentator and co-host Tony Schiavone giving this thoughts about Bryan Danielson being one of Tony Khan’s best hires for AEW.

“Bryan Danielson was one of Tony Khan’s best hires, as far as the talent is concerned, for a number of reasons. Number one because his performance, and number two because he just has great ideas. He is a great leader, and he also knows talent, and he can pick out guys that he thinks are great. He can pick out talent, he can pick guys that he thinks, β€˜Hey, we need to use them a lot more.’ He’s so valuable to this company for everything.”
