Giulia Wrist Fracture Injury Update – Giulia Underwent Successful Surgery

As noted before, Marigold talent Giulia suffered a right wrist fracture injury at Marigold’s debut event last week in Tokyo, Japan. WWE’s current plans for Giulia’s potential debut in their company at their upcoming NXT Heatwave 2024 event is currently uncertain due to her injury situation.

Marigold provided an update earlier today on Twitter stating that Giulia underwent successful surgery this morning in Tokyo.

It was also announced that Giulia is currently scheduled to be discharged from the hospital this Thursday and will be attending their upcoming event on June 1st in Osaka.

In a recent interview with Tokyo Sports, Giulia stated that she opted to have surgery since she had been informed it would be the fastest way to recover from her injury. Giulia also stated that she wants to be medically cleared in time to compete in her scheduled match against Sareee at Marigold’s upcoming event on July 13th.

“That day, my arm bent in the opposite direction, and as a result, I broke a bone. I was told that surgery would be the fastest recovery, and I decided because I wanted to [wrestle against] Sareee in perfect condition.”
