WWE’s Rhea Ripley and AEW’s Buddy Matthews recently got married.
Ripley made the announcement on Instagram and posted a photo of the couple and revealed that they got married on Sunday, June 23rd.
Ripley and Matthews had announced their engagement in August of 2023.
Ripley has been out of action for WWE since this past April due to a shoulder injury.
Matthews last wrestled in AEW at the June 15th AEW Collision show and suffered a storyline injury, which PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported was AEW officials way of writing out Matthews so that he could travel back home to Australia for a family event.
