As noted before, Alisha Edwards suffered a head injury at TNA’s Emergence 2024 event this past August in Louisville, Kentucky. Despite the injury, Edwards was scheduled to compete at TNA’s Victory Road 2024 event. Edwards had been advertised to defend her TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship with Masha Slamovich against Spitfire at the event.
TNA provided an update earlier today announcing that they have pulled Edwards from tonight’s Victory Road 2024 due to her not being medically cleared to compete. It was announced that Tasha Steelz will be replacing Edwards as Slamovich’s partner for the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Championship match at the event.
BREAKING: @MrsAIPAlisha is not medically cleared to compete tonight at #TNAVictoryRoad. Taking her place in the Knockouts World Tag Team Title match vs. Spitfire is @RealTSteelz! If Spitfire lose, they must disband!
