Update:
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources provided an update stating that Bliss was spotted backstage at tonight’s Royal Rumble 2025 event.
Johnson reported that Bliss’ presence backstage had “turned a ton of heads” due to the contract dispute that had put her return to the company on hold.
As noted before, Alexa Bliss has been out of action for WWE since January of 2023 due to skin cancer treatment-related issues and maternity reasons over the birth of her first child. WWE recently dropped all of their creative plans for Bliss’ potential return due to issues related to a contract dispute between Bliss and the company for a potential new deal.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that there has been no new movement in regards to the status of the contract dispute talks between Bliss and WWE.
Johnson reported that Bliss is not currently in Indianapolis and instead was at a concert where her husband Ryan Cabrera was performing on Friday in Orlando, Florida.
Johnson also reported that there has been no talks within WWE about Bliss making an appearance at tonight’s Royal Rumble 2025 event.
