Jade Cargill WWE Status & Training Update

As noted before, WWE CCO Paul “Triple H” Levesque stated during this past Saturday’s Survivor Series WarGames 2023 post-show press conference that the reason for the recent lack of appearances or in-ring work for Jade Cargill is due to them feeling that she just needs more training in order to be ready to work in the company. Levesque’s comments were made as a slight dig at AEW over WWE’s issues with her limited growth and progress with her ring work.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Cargill has recently been spending one to two days per week at the Performance Center and this is the current plan by WWE officials going forward for her training.

Johnson reported that WWE officials currently do not have an official date for her main roster debut nor even plans for her appear regularly on their NXT brand.

WWE officials reportedly currently view Cargill as a strong talent for the future and are in no rush for creative plans for her first storylines in the company.

Cargill recently commented on Twitter about her recent lack of appearances and work in WWE stating “Also, like I said. It’s on MY time 💅🏾⏳


CM Punk WWE Contract Status Update – WWE Reportedly Believed to Have Included “Behavior Clause”

As noted before, CM Punk made his official return to WWE at this past Saturday’s Survivor Series 2023 event in Rosemont, Illinois. Punk’s contract with WWE is currently believed to be for several years in length.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that CM Punk’s contract with WWE is currently believed to include a “behavior clause” as part of the terms for his deal. Those spoken to reportedly stated that this might have been the reason why Punk was in good spirits and at his “best behavior” backstage at this past Monday’s RAW show in Nashville, Tennessee.

In regards to Punk’s main roster status, it was reported that Punk is currently listed as a “free agent” in WWE’s internal roster list.

Alexa Bliss and Ryan Cabrera recently announced on Instagram that Bliss gave birth to their first child named Henrdix on November 27th.

While responding to a fan question on Twitter, The Mat Men Pro Wrestling’s Andrew Zarian stated that the recent rumors and report of Warner Brothers Discovery being the front-runner to sign a television deal with WWE for their RAW brand is something that he was not told about by his sources. Zarian statedI personally have not heard of raw going to a wbd property.” Zarian also stated that the status of AEW’s current talks with WBD for a new television deal is currently expected to be revealed in early 2024.

As noted before, this past Monday’s WWE RAW show drew 1,884,000 viewers and a 0.65 rating. Wrestlenomics’ Brandon Thurston reported that RAW’s peak viewership was at 2,058,000 viewers for the first quarter that featured the Randy Orton & Rhea Ripley promo segment. In regards to the main event quarter featuring CM Punk’s first promo in WWE since his return, Thurston reported that it drew 1,768,000 viewers.

WrestleTalk reported that WWE recently moved Cedric Alexander’s profile to their SmackDown brand roster page following him being a “free agent” since this past April’s WWE Draft 2023.

Drake Maverick filed a trademark for “The Baby Jesus of Pro Wrestling” on November 27th for wrestling and entertainment-related purposes.

This past Tuesday’s NXT show featured the official on-screen return of Nikkita Lyons. This was Lyons’ first appearance for WWE since this past January due to a torn ACL and meniscus injury.

Indies wrestler and former WWE talent Lince Dorado revealed on Twitter that he was invited by WWE to work as a guest coach at their Performance Center this week.

As noted before, this past Saturday’s WWE Survivor Series WarGames 2023 event featured the official in-ring return of Randy Orton. PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that one of the people that helped train Orton for his in-ring return was NXT talent Damon Kemp.

Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that WWE officials recently ended their longtime podcast series After The Bell with Corey Graves. It was reported that the official reason why WWE officials made the decision to cancel the podcast series is currently not known.
