The Rock Responds to Dave LaGreca’s Criticisms Over His Abscense and Lack of Involvement at WrestleMania 41

This past Sunday’s WWE WrestleMania 41 Night 2 event in Las Vegas, Nevada featured John Cena defeating Cody Rhodes to become the new Undisputed WWE Champion. This match was notable for the very negative online reactions over the quality of the match, issues with Travis Scott’s involvement in it, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s abscense from it. During this past Monday’s The Pat McAfee Show, Johnson gave his reasons for his abscense from both the match and the build for it claiming that he didn’t want to take the spotlight away from Cena and Rhodes.

A recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast featured Dave LaGreca giving his angry thoughts about Johnson’s lack of involvement in the match and build and blaming him for why the match turned out badly. LaGreca also harshly criticized Johnson for his comments made on the Pat McAfee Show for his reasons why he was absent from both the match and its build.

Johnson responded earlier today on Instagram about the comments made by LaGreca and the Busted Open Radio crew blaming him for causing all of the issues for the match.

“Hi Dave, the business is a complete work. Always has been, always will be. Every aspect of it. Every match. Every interview. Please join me, Cody, Cena, Brian and the rest of us for our creative discussions so you can expand your perspective. Until then, stop ranting, it’s not healthy my friend. Enjoy the show. Ps, tell Bubba I have Grand Marnier and hush puppies for all of us —-“

Following Johnson’s comments, LaGreca responded during today’s episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast about his disappointment with Johnson’s response.
