Update on Eric Bischoff & Hulk Hogan Working on New Project
As noted before, WWE Hall of Famers Eric Bischoff and Hulk Hogan announced this past Monday that they have teamed up together again for a new project. This new project was also announced to involve a mystery third person.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that this new project is currently expected to be officially unveiled before the end of this week.
In regards to the online rumors of this new project being the potential launch of a new wrestling promotion, Johnson reported that those spoken to stated that no talents currently available on the market have been approached by anyone associated with Hogan or Bischoff, at least not yet.

TNA Wrestling recently announced two new matches for the card of this Thursday’s live Impact! show at the Bren Events Center in Irvine, California.
The first new match announced was a Six-Man Tag Team match of Frankie Kazarian & The Nemeths (Ryan & Nic Nemeth) vs. Joe Hendry & The Hardys (Matt & Jeff Hardy).

The second new match announced was a singles match of KC Navarro vs. Leon Slater.

House of Glory recently announced that their new HOG Wrestling School in Orlando, Florida will be officially opening on May 31st.
Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling recently announced that Michael Oku will be making an appearance for the company at their Northern Rising event on May 10th in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Maple Leaf Pro also announced that they have signed Legends deals with the families of Bruiser Brody, Bulldog Brower, and ‘Wildman’ Dave McKigney in honor of Brody, Brower, and McKigney’s contributions to Canadian wrestling. It was announced that these new deals includes them “preparing to release limited edition merchandise honoring each legend, including a classic-style t-shirt and collector’s edition trading cards.”
Tuesday’s Hizen No Kuni event for New Japan Pro Wrestling in Saga, Japan featured El Phantasmo defeating Great-O-Khan to become the new NJPW World Television Champion.
Tuesday’s NJPW Hizen No Kuni event in Saga also featured Master Wato & YOH defeating Ichiban Sweet Boys (Kosei Fujita & Robbie Eagles) to become the new IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions.
Below Zero Wrestling recently announced that they will be holding a new event called Road Rage on August 8 at the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, South Dakota. This venue is notable in wrestling history for being the host venue of WCW’s Road Wild events from 1996 to 1999.
The Cauliflower Alley Club recently announced that WWE Hall of Famers The Bushwackers (Butch Miller & Luke Williams) will be the recipients for this year’s Tag Team award at this year’s CAC Reunion event on August 18-20 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Jersey City Wrestling recently announced that in honor of this year’s Mother’s Day holiday, all mothers will get free admission at their May Flowers event on May 11th in Asbury Park, New Jersey.
