Eddie Kingston Comments on Him Hoping to Train with Ortiz & Homicide in Preparation for In-Ring Return
As noted before, Eddie Kingston has been out of action for AEW and New Japan Pro Wrestling since May of 2024 due to a broken leg, torn ACL, and torn meniscus injuries and surgery.
A recent video posted by former AEW talent Cezar Bononi on his YouTube channel featured Kingston as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Kingston’s thoughts about his current plans for an in-ring return from his injury.
“Everything is slow at first, it’s running the ropes, all that stuff. three-quarter rolls. Then I’ll get in there. I would like to get Ortiz and Homicide down to grapple. Ortiz, if they’re going to film it, because AEW likes to film everything, I get it. I don’t, that’s not me and my style. At least get Ortiz back on TV [Laughs]. It’s not my show. You’re not always going to agree with your job. Once I get to the ring, I’m happy, I’m good.”

Ricochet Comments on Prioritizing Quest for Gold Over Faction Building
As noted before, the May 28th episode of AEW Dynamite featured Ricochet revealing his plans to form a new faction led by him in AEW.
The Dallas Morning News recently held an interview with Ricochet. One of the topics discussed included Ricochet’s thoughts about if he current plans to put together a new group ahead of AEW’s All In Texas event this July.
“If all goes accordingly, absolutely. But, again, it’s up in the open right now. But for me, I think the quest for gold is the No. 1 thing on my mind. And the group that I need, the people around me that I need are all going to line up, are going to sync together with what I feel is the most important thing, and that’s the quest for gold. Whatever happens, it doesn’t matter where, when, why, whether it’s at a Dynamite, whether it’s on a Collision, whether it’s at All In, my quest for gold comes first.”
