AEW: Keith Lee Provides Health & Potential AEW Return Update, Swerve Strickland on the “Secret Sauce” to His & Prince Nana’s Success in AEW, Bryan Danielson Makes Surprise Post-Show Appearance at 6/26 Collision Taping

Keith Lee Provides Health Status & Potential AEW Return Update

As noted before, Keith Lee has been absent from AEW since December of 2023 and had underwent two surgeries for undisclosed issues in early 2024.

In a recent response to a fan on Twitter, Lee clarified recent comments he made about him being confident that the time for his in-ring return will come. This fan stated “@RealKeithLee You are missed on TV but we know you are doing what’s important and taking care of yourself. God Bless you brother.” Lee responded stating “Again, I am quite fine. It is not up to me when it comes to a return. But blessings to you as well.

In a follow-up, Lee responded to a fan stating that he has been feeling fine for some time. This fan stated “Wait… you’re good to go? So we need to start the same campaign that bullied TK to get Athena on All In? I’m ready!” Lee responded stating “I’ve been good for quite some time, though I do appreciate the concern. But no campaign required. Things happen the way they are suppose to, and eventually, the purpose will show itself.

Swerve Strickland Comments on the “Secret Sauce” to His & Prince Nana’s Success in AEW

Nisqually Valley News held a recent interview with Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana. One of the topics discussed included Strickland’s thoughts about how everything him and Prince Nana do is genuine for the “secret sauce” for their success in AEW.

“The secret sauce to everything Nana and I touch turning to gold is because everything that Nana and I do is genuine.

It starts with that. That’s the attachment. That’s the connection we have with the people. It’s up to the people to turn it into gold. The more people connect to us, the more people wear what we wear, post what we post, show up to where we’re at, like, retweet and share the things that we do, do the dances — that’s connection. That’s just us being ourselves. That wasn’t really anybody controlling, playing or navigating us. It was just putting us in the place and giving us the opportunity, the time to do it. Getting the platform is the first thing. Landing on the platform is the first thing, and what you do with that turns it into more over time.”

Nana responded stating:

“We go by a saying, ‘everything we do is with a passion.’ That’s what our secret sauce is. We have passion. We have desire. This is what we do. We want to relay that to the fans each and every week.”

Bryan Danielson Makes Surprise Post-Show Appearance at Wednesday’s AEW Collision Taping

AEW held a new taping for AEW Collision on Wednesday in Kent, Washington as part of a double set of Dynamite and Collision tapings that night.

Following the Collision taping, Max Caster came out for a post-show dark match and issued another Max Caster Open Challenge Series match. This led to Danielson’s music playing and him coming out as the mystery opponent. Danielson quickly defeated Caster after Adam Cole superkicked Caster and Danielson locked in the LeBell Lock for the tap out victory.
