More on AEW Dynamite Viewership for June 11
The June 11th episode of AEW Dynamite saw AEW suffer a large decline in overall viewership and a slight decline in key demographic ratings. This week’s show was notable for being the Summer Blockbuster special and for being a four-hour show split up into Dynamite and Collision shows airing that same night.
AEW drew 597,000 viewers and a 0.17 key demographic rating on TBS. AEW’s key demographic ranking for that night was #5 place.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the main reasons for AEW’s declines this week was due to a combination of the stiff sports competition from the 2025 NBA Finals and the large decline from their younger key demographic viewership group, which was down 15.4% compared to last week’s show. This reportedly offset the increases from their older male key demographic and older female key demographic groups, which were up 1.9% and 3.8% respectively compared to last week’s show. Meltzer reported that the viewership on MAX for the show is currently not known. Meltzer also reported that AEW’s lead-in programming Big Bang Theory drew 643,000 viewers and a 0.11 rating.
In terms of head-to-head competition, the 2025 NBA Finals Game 3 of Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Indiana Pacers drew 9,195,000 viewers on ABC, the MLB games of New York Yankees vs. Kansas City and Texas vs. Minnesota drew 551,000 viewers on MLB Network, College Track & Field drew 317,000 viewers on ESPN, Real Housewives of Miami drew 290,000 viewers on BRAVO, Holmes Family Rescue drew 832,000 viewers on HGTV, and Summer House drew 217,000 viewers on BRAVO.
In terms of key demographic viewership, AEW had 223,000 viewers. AEW’s Males 18-34 had 46,000 viewers (down 8.3%), Females 18-34 had 31,000 viewers (down 27.9%), Males 35-49 had 106,000 viewers (up 1.9%), and Females 35-49 had 54,000 viewers (up 3.8%). Meltzer reported that AEW’s males/female viewership split was 68.2% in favor of males.
In terms of yearly comparisons, AEW was down 12.3% in overall viewership and down 24.9% in key demographic viewership. Meltzer reported that AEW’s 18-34 key demographic viewership was down 8.3% compared to the same week last year. Meltzer also reported that one main reason for the large declines is due to the unknown key demographic viewership migration on MAX compared to last year’s show.

More on AEW Collision Viewership for June
The June 10th episode of AEW Collision saw gain a small increase in overall viewership but suffered a slight decline in key demographic ratings. This week’s show was notable for being the Summer Blockbuster special, for being a four-hour show split up into Dynamite and Collision shows airing that same night, and for Collision being preempted to Wednesday due to TNT’s NHL Stanley Cup Finals commitments for Saturday, June 14th.
AEW drew 397,000 viewers and a 0.09 key demographic rating on TNT. AEW’s key demographic ranking for that night was #25 place.
Dave Meltzer reported in this week’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter that the main reasons for AEW’s mixed results this week was due to the small increases from their Over 50 demographic viewership group, which its percentage was not given, and their younger male key demographic and older male key demographic viewership groups, which were up 4% and 1.6% compared to last week’s show. This reportedly mostly offset the combination of combination of the stiff sports competition from the 2025 NBA Finals and the large declines from their younger female demographic viewership and older female demographic viewership groups, which were down 32% and 29.2% compared to last week’s show. Meltzer that the viewership on MAX for the show is currently not known.

Meltzer reported that AEW’s males/female viewership split was 72.4% in favor of males.
