Backstage Update on Mike Santana’s TNA Contract Status & WWE Interest

TNA Wrestling talent Mike Santana has made several appearances for WWE as part of his storyline feud with current TNA World Champion Trick Williams. Santana most recently wrestled against Williams for the title at last week’s WWE NXT show.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Santana’s work had impressed several high level WWE officials and their interest him in increased following his match with Williams for the TNA World Championship.

In regards to Santana’s contract status with TNA, Johnson reported that Santana’s contract is currently set to expire later this year and him attracting interest from WWE could have an impact on the future of his wrestling career.


Shotzi Blackheart Comments on Earning More in Two Days on the Indies than She Did in a Week in WWE

In a recent response to a fan on Instagram, former WWE talent Shotzi Blackheart stated that she made more in two days on the indies than she did in a week in WWE since her departure from the company this past May.

This fan stated “She went from making great money to trying to kill herself for some change.” Blackheart responded stating “made more money in 2 days than what WWE paid me for a week.

Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling recently announced that Shotzi Black heart will be making her official debut appearance for the company at their Resurrection event on July 5th in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

Riot Cabaret Wrestling announced that Thunder Rosa will be making an appearance for the company at their Someone’s Knocking at the Door event on August 22nd in London, England.

WrestleCon recently announced that Carlito will be making an appearance at their WrestleCon Destination Newark event on August 1-2 in Newark, New Jersey.

Major League Wrestling recently announced that they have promoted Salina de la Renta as their new Vice President of Wrestler Relations.

Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling announced that Haruna Neko had suffered a torn ACL injury at their TJPW Spring Tour 2025 in Shizuoka event on May 24th in Shimizu, Japan.

PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources stated that Jake Something made a return to TNA Wrestling at this past Saturday’s Impact! tapings in Tempe, Arizona.

TNA recently announced one new match and one new segment for the card of this week’s Impact! show on June 12th on AXS TV and Sportsnet 360:
