Naomi Comments on Her Holding Back Tears When She was Grabbing Money in the Bank Briefcase
A recent episode of the Busted Open Radio podcast featured Naomi as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Naomi’s thoughts about how she was holding back tears when she was grabbing the Money in the Bank briefcase for her victory in the Women’s Money in the Bank match at this past Saturday’s WWE Money in the Bank 2025 event.
“You never know. In wrestling, we all know, the card is always subject to change. Even that day and everything leading up to it, in my own mind, I knew I earned this moment. I knew I deserved it, but I still wasn’t psyching myself out or telling myself until I wrapped my fingers around the handle and had [the briefcase]. In that moment, the funny thing is, it took so much to hold back my tears in that moment. I finally let it release when I had the aftershow with Big E. It was important that I really stayed true to who the character Naomi is at this time. That part was really hard because I was like, ‘Oh my Gosh, I finally did it.’ This has been a year in the making. Since my return, just wanting to really make the best use of my time here. I’ve always cared, but to be a little more assertive and aggressive this go round. That’s something that I didn’t have early on in my career. Some people say I’m too nice. I never felt like that was a bad thing and I don’t regret being that way, but I understand now when and what to fight for at this stage of my career. With the choice of creative given me, I’m very thankful for this space and opportunity to continue to grow and show what I do and can bring to this division. It’s been something I’m grateful for. To have all that going through my mind in that moment was a rush of emotions.”

Mr. Iguana Comments on Being Told by WWE He Would Skip NXT & Heading Straight to Main Roster
Línea Directa TV held a recent interview with Lucha Libre AAA talent Mr. Iguana. One of the topics discussed included Mr. Iguana’s thoughts about him being recently told by WWE officials that he will be skipping NXT and heading straight to their main roster because of his high merchandise sales and being one of their fastest rising stars.
“Tell them nothing because I’m already here. I am literally here. Yesterday, I was at the NXT Performance Center in Orlando, and I was told, “You’re not coming through here, you’re going to the main roster.” I posted a picture yesterday with Shawn Michaels, and he said we need you here because you’re the best-selling t-shirt this week and the fastest rising star on the cards, and all since Saturday. Since Saturday, I feel like the adrenaline hasn’t stopped. It’s every kid’s dream to be in WWE. I am busy currently, but for my hometown, I will have all the time in the world because thanks to them, to be culichi (from Culiacan), and to be from Sinaloa, I would not be where I am now.”

Vince McMahon Sex Trafficking Lawsuit Update – Dr. Carlon Colker Seeking Default Win Over Law Firm in Federal Court & Targeting Grant’s Attorney Ann Callis
As noted before, former WWE employee Janel Grant filed a lawsuit in January of 2024 against former TKO Executive Chairman Vince McMahon accusing McMahon of committing sex trafficking and sexual abuse towards her during her time in the company. Grant filed a new amended lawsuit this past February detailing new evidence and claims against McMahon, Laurinaitis, WWE, and others. Dr. Carlon Colker’s motion asking for a dismissal of Grant’s petition against him and his clinic was denied this past May.
Law360 reported that Colker and his Peak Wellness Inc. clinic are currently seeking a default win in the Connecticut federal court against an alleged “nonresponsive” law firm over comments made amid a discovery dispute that is connected to Grant’s sex trafficking lawsuit against McMahon and WWE.
In the filing, Colker claims that Holland Law Firm LLC has yet to respond to their complaint from May 2nd or anything else despite being notified about it.
Besides the request to be awarded a default legal victory, Colker is also targeting Grant’s lawyer Ann Callis over his claims that Callis made defamatory comments during an October 2024 press conference accusing him and his clinic of not sticking to medical and ethical standards while treating Grant. In the filing, Colker is claiming that comments made by Callis stating that Colker had instructed Grant to take “mystery pills” and provided her with treatments of “unknown contents” are “demonstrably false.”
“Since issuing her false, malicious, and defamatory statements, numerous media outlets and public figures have amplified Callis’s statements, significantly exacerbating the damage to plaintiffs’ reputations. Callis’s false statements have been viewed, shared, and discussed by millions of individuals worldwide, including prospective patients, professional colleagues, and potential jurors.”
