As noted before, WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair was absent from his schedule appearance for this past Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts 2025 show. Flair’s abscense was later revealed to be due to him leaving the show early due to a health-related issue caused by recent rotator cuff injury.
Flair issued a statement earlier today on Twitter apologizing for his abscense from the show and confirmed he left early due to issues with his rotator cuff injury. Flair also stated that he looks forward to being invited again to an AEW show in the future.
“I Want To Apologize To Everyone For Having To Leave The @AEW Show Early Last Wednesday Due To My Rotator Cuff Injury. I Appreciate @TonyKhan Giving Me The Opportunity To Be On The Show. It Was Nice Catching Up With All The Great Talent And Ricky Steamboat. I Look Forward To Being Invited Again. After I Have My Shoulder Healed Up, I Will Be Back Up & Running. I Just Want You All To Know That I Would Never Disappoint You Intentionally.”
