As noted before, EVIL has been rumored to be looking at options for the future of his wrestling career outside of NJPW. EVIL is currently believed to have recently given his notice to NJPW and is expected to be joining WWE.
New Japan Pro Wrestling announced earlier today that EVIL will be leaving the company once his current contract expires at the end of this month.
EVIL to leave NJPW

After careful consideration and discussions with NJPW management, EVIL, who has been a long standing member of the NJPW roster will leave New Japan Pro-Wrestling at the expiry of his contract at the end of January 2026.
We apologise to fans for the sudden nature of this announcement. New Japan Pro-Wrestling wishes EVIL the very best in his future activities.
Prior to the announcement, EVIL had been with NJPW since 2011.
