Utami Hayashishita Announces She Is Leaving Marigold

Saturday’s Marigold Spring Victory Series 2026 event in Tokyo, Japan featured Miku Aono defeating Utami Hayashishita to retain the Marigold World Championship.

Following the match, Hayashishita gave a speech to the crowd announcing that she will be leaving the company. Hayashishita also stated that she had made her decision earlier this year and it was not related to her loss against Aono today. Hayashishit also announced that her final match for Marigold will be taking place on May 23rd.

Prior to her announcement, Hayashishita has been with Marigold since April of 2024.
