Roman Reigns Advertised for WWE Clash in Italy & Updated Appearances Schedule

As noted before, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns is no longer advertised to be making appearances at upcoming WWE RAW shows this June. Reigns being pulled from RAW shows this June was believed to be due to WWE officials not having plans for him to travel to Saudi Arabia for that month’s Night of Champions 2026 event and a clerical error causing him to be mistakenly advertised for those shows.

WWE recently announced Reigns’ current schedule of appearances for the month of April.

Besides his upcoming scheduled match against Jacob Fatu at this Saturday’s Backlash 2026 event, Reigns is also confirmed to be making an appearance at WWE’s upcoming Clash in Italy event on May 31st in Turin Italy.

Roman Reigns’ WWE appearances schedule for May 2026:

  • WWE Backlash 2026 – May 9 – Tampa, FL
  • WWE Raw – May 11 – Knoxville, TN
  • WWE Raw – May 18 – Greensboro, NC
  • WWE Raw – May 25 – Columbus, OH
  • WWE Clash in Italy – May 31 – Turin, Italy

Donovan Dijak Reveals NXT Backstage Reaction During His Kenny Omega Online Feud in 2019

A recent episode of Fightful’s In The Weeds podcast featured former WWE and current Major League Wrestling talent Donovan Dijak as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Dijak’s thoughts about the backstage reaction within NXT during his online feud with Kenny Omega in 2019. This online feud revolved around comments Omega made in an episode of Being The Elite about how AEW focuses on featuring real talents unlike NXT’s developmental wrestlers for the Wednesday Night War between AEW and WWE.

“A handful of coaches at the PC, said that they liked that I was sticking up for us, cause that’s just kind of how I felt in that moment. When I go back, I don’t even remember what article I was talking (about), for those of you who aren’t familiar, there was some sort of article I think with the benefit of hindsight, he was probably in character when he was doing this, but I don’t know. It was a very volatile time and he he said something effective, like everybody on the NXT roster like would be a midcarder in AEW or something like that and again I’m paraphrasing, obviously, that’s offensive to me because I’m on the NXT roster, so I took a jab at him. I doubt he took it personally. Maybe he did. I don’t know if he meant his thing personally. Maybe he did. I don’t know. I’ve never spoken to him since, and we only had two interactions before that. It was a time when people were saying all sorts of stuff about the other ones. In my youth, I was the kind of person who enjoyed stoking the flames, so to speak. I had no issue with it. I’ve been on record many, many times saying that I think Kenny Omega is one of the best wrestlers in the world. I can’t say that enough. My anger was about the attack that was happening to us. Ironically, now, pretty much everybody on the roster, on the black and gold roster, is on AEW or has been on AEW at some point. So, you know, I’m sure nobody actually cares. But, you know, like everything else in pro wrestling, you just kind of take something that has semblances of reality and you go off with it. But, you know, that’s just kind of the nature of how it was going back then.”

ESPN Replaces Miseria Cantare for CM Punk’s Entrance for WrestleMania 42 Replays on ESPN Unlimited

As noted before, this past April’s WWE WrestleMania 42 Night 2 event in Las Vegas, Nevada featured CM Punk bringing back his iconic Miseria Cantare theme song as part of his entrance for his match against Roman Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship.

ESPN recently made a change to Punk’s entrance during replays of WrestleMania 42 on their ESPN Unlimited service. This change involves ESPN replacing the licensed music from AFI with generic stock music instead for Punk’s entrance video.
