Jim Ross Heading Home Soon After Over One Month Hospitalization Stay

As noted before, AEW commentator Jim Ross has been hospitalized since this past late May due to an undisclosed medical issue. Ross recently provided an update stating that he was scheduled to be discharged from the hospital on Tuesday, June 30.

Ross provided an update on Monday on Twitter confirming that he will be discharged on Tuesday and heading back home after spending over 30 days in the hospital for an undisclosed issue.

“Heading home tomorrow!

Over 30 days in the hospital come to a grateful end.

Count your blessings daily. 🤠🙏”


Mercedes Mone Posts Teaser for Potential Future AEW Match Against Bayley

Following this past Sunday’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026 event in San Jose, California, 2026 Women’s Owen Hart Foundation Cup winner Mercedes Mone posted a teaser image on Instagram teasing a potential future match against Bayley in AEW.

This teaser image featured a mock-up match graphic for this year’s WrestleDream event teasing match between Mone and Bayley. Mone was listed as being the AEW Women’s World Champion and Bayley was listed under her pre-WWE ring name of Davina Rose.

In regards to the potential of this match taking place this year in AEW, Bayley had stated in an interview with the Insight with Chris Van Vliet podcast in April of 2025 that she had a year and a half remaining on her WWE contract at the time.


Walker Stewart Reflects on Getting To Be Part of AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026

This past Sunday’s AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2026 event in San Jose, California featured the commentary team of Excalibur, Tony Schiavone, and Nigel McGuinness from AEW and Walker Stewart from NJPW.

Stewart recently reflected on Twitter about him having a great time at Forbidden Door and getting to be involved in this year’s co-promotional event.
