Big E Comments on “There’s Life Outside Of Wrestling, And It Ain’t That Bad”
As noted before, Big E retired from his in-ring wrestling career this past February following him being out of action for WWE since March of 2022 due to a broken neck injury. Big E announced earlier this month that he is officially retired from his in-ring wrestling career.
A recent episode of The A2theK Wrestling Show podcast featured Big E as the guest. One of the topics discussed included Big E’s thoughts about him currently not being interested in the idea of working in a weekly commentary role in WWE and he is enjoying life too much to get back into that type of travel grind for his wrestling career.
“Frankly, I just don’t want to be on the road like that every single week. It’s a lot, man. It’s a lot of time away from home.
I love my lazy weekends. You know, I’m still working, I’m still doing a lot of other things, juggling other projects. But my lazy weekends with my lady, with Kristen. That time together or the time I now get — here’s the problem is: I realize there’s life outside of wrestling, and it ain’t that bad. It’s kind of nice. It’s nice to be able to do stuff with friends or to go on a vacation. Like, I want to live, man. Tip of the cap to Cole and to so many of these commentators that have been doing this for decades. I am so blown away. Like, that sacrifice to have been on the road for that long and do so much of that.”
Big E also gave his thoughts about his current role as a panelist on WWE PLE pre-shows and post-shows and him getting to still be involved with WWE while having enough time to spend at home.
“I am so grateful to be in a position where I don’t have to work. I am so, so grateful for that. I work because I enjoy working.”

Logan Paul Provides Update on His Torn Triceps Injury & Surgery
As noted before, Logan Paul has been out of action for WWE since this past May’s WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event show due to a torn triceps injury and surgery.
A recent episode of the Impaulsive podcast featured co-host Paul providing an update on his recovery from his torn triceps injury.
“I’ve been brutally injured, like way more than this. This one will have the longest recovery but all things considered, it’s the least inconvenient injury possible. I have both hands, I’m right handed. I just can’t bend it. Texting is a little annoying.”

Liv Morgan Alleged Stalker Arrest Trial Update
As noted before, a man named Shawn Chan was arrested in June of 2025 outside of WWE’s Performance Center in Orlando, Florida over charges of him being an alleged stalker of Liv Morgan. Chan was issued federal charges related to a stalking incident at Morgan’s home, which Morgan was away from at the time. Chan had filed a notice of insanity defense this past December leading to his trial start date being delayed for a third time to a new date of June 15th. Chan was found not guilty by reason of insanity on a charge of interstate domestic violence.
PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that the criminal case against Chan was officially closed by the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida, Tampa Division based on recent court documents.
Johnson reported that court documents related to Chan’s case were updated this week and mentioned Chan’s criminal case against him being officially closed.
THIS CAUSE is before the Court following a Stipulated Facts Bench Trial held on June 18, 2026.
This Court found Defendant Shawn Chan Not Guilty By Reason of Insanity as to Count One of the Indictment. Defendant was adjudicated Not Guilty By Reason of Insanity and ordered to be released from the custody of the United States Marshal and to the custody of United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (“ICE”) due to a preexisting ICE detainer.
Defendant met his burden of establishing by a preponderance of the evidence that his release would not create a substantial risk of bodily injury to another person or serious damage of property of another due to a present mental disease or defect. Namely, Defendant has been stabilized from his prior psychotic state and been deemed competent by medical source providers. As such, he poses no danger to the community or to the victim in this case. He is also subject to an immigration detainer.
Defendant does not oppose the immigration detainer and desires to return to Canada.
The Government concurred in this assessment and offered no evidence to rebut this showing.
Therefore, pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 4243(d), the Court finds that Defendant has met his burden and established by a preponderance of the evidence that his release would not create a substantial risk of bodily injury to another person or serious damage of property of another due to a present mental disease or defect.
Accordingly, it is ORDERED as follows: 1. The Court finds the Defendant’s release would not create a substantial risk of bodily injury to another person or serious damage of property of another due to a present mental disease or defect. (See 18 U.S.C. § 4243(d)) DONE and ORDERED in Tampa, Florida, on June 18, 2026.
Johnson reported that Chan still remains in ICE custody.
