Wade Barrett Fills In For Booker T on NXT Commentary

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida featured SmackDown commentator Wade Barrett filling in for Booker T on NXT commentary.

At the start of the show, NXT lead commentator Vic Joseph welcomed Barrett on commentary and stated that Booker T was still on his vacation break for the reason for his abscense from tonight’s show for the second week in a row.

Shiloh Hill vs. Tristan Angels Announced for NXT Great American Bash 2026

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured the first of two new matches announced for the card of NXT Great American Bash 2026.

This new match announced was a singles match of Shiloh Hill vs. Tristian Angels.

This new match was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Hill and Angels’ bad blood issues with each other and Angels’ stealing Hill’s Mr. NXT pagent slash.

During tonight’s show, Hill was interviewed backstage and revealed that he is medically cleared to compete and called out Angels for a match at NXT Great American Bash.

Later in the show, this match was made official for the show.

Tatum Paxley vs. Zaria for NXT Women’s North American Title Announced for NXT Great American Bash 2026

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured the second of two new matches announced for the card of NXT Great American Bash 2026.

This new match announced was a NXT Women’s North American Championship match of Tatum Paxley vs. Zaria (c).

This new match was setup following a video promo segment involving Zaria talking about Paxley and granting her a rematch at NXT Great American Bash.

It was announced afterwards that this match was made official for the show.

Arianna Grace vs. Wren Sinclair for WWE Speed Women’s Title Set for NXT Great American Bash 2026

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured one newly updated match for the card of NXT Great American Bash 2026, which takes place on June 28 at the Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

This newly updated match announced was a WWE Speed Women’s Championship match of Arianna Grace vs. Wren Sinclair (c).

This newly updated match was setup following Grace defeating Izzi Dame in the Finals of the WWE Speed Women’s Championship #1 Contender tournament.

AAA Talents To Appear at NXT Great American Bash 2026

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured NXT GM Robert Stone announcing that AAA talents will be making an appearance at NXT Great American Bash 2026.

Kevin Owens To Make Appearance at NXT Great American Bash 2026

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured the announcement of Kevin Owens and Busted Open Radio co-host Dave LaGreca will be making an appearance at the NXT Great American Bash Tailgate & Watch Party in the NXT parking lot outside of the Performance Center.

The Culling Turns on Shawn Spears & Kicks Him Out Of Group

Tuesday’s WWE NXT show also featured The Culling turning on Shawn Spears and kicking him out of the group.

Spears removal from the group was initially setup over recent weeks shows over Izzi Dame’s growing issues with Spears. During tonight’s show, Spears caused Dame to be distracted during her Finals match against Arianna Grace in the WWE Women’s Speed Championship #1 Contender tournament. This led to a frustrated Dame confronting Spears after the match for costing her the chance at winning the title.

Following The Culling’s Spears and Niko Vance’s loss to Sean Legacy & Dorian Van Dux, Dame gave a very disappointed look towards Spears for losing the match. This led to Dame getting in the ring and Vance helping up Spears only for Vance to attack Spears and laid him out after sending him through a table.
