PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that his sources confirmed that Sade had worked last week’s TNA Impact! tapings without being under contract with TNA in order to finish up her storylines in the company.
Johnson reported that those spoken to stated that this was Sade’s decision to work at the tapings. TNA officials reportedly were very happy with how Sade handled herself and were also thankful for her work.
Johnson also reported that those spoken to within WWE stated that their company is currently interested in potentially bring back Sade but the current feeling from multiple TNA talents is that she will be heading to AEW.
As noted before, Mara Sade’s contract with TNA Wrestling expired this past July. Sade worked at last week’s TNA Impact! tapings in Philadelphia to finish up her commitments in the TNA Knockouts Television Championship tournament. TNA had confirmed on Monday that both Sade and Jody Threat were released from the company.
Fightful Select reported that their sources stated that Sade is not expected to return to TNA and she had worked last week’s TNA Impact! tapings in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania without a contract.
Those spoken to reportedly stated that TNA officials had increased their offer to Sade in an attempt to try to get her to stay in the company but those spoken to within AEW stated that they have been expecting that their company would make a play for her.
Those spoken to within TNA and AEW reportedly currently expect Sade to end up in AEW.
Sade is currently in a relationship with AEW talent and current TNT Champion “The Jet” Kevin Knight.
