Tajiri and The Great Muta announced at a press conference in Japan on June 18 to talk about changes to Tajiri’s promotion Wrestling New Classic (WNC). He revealed that he is only a producer, not the owner, and WNC could close soon as a promotion.
He also said that WNC will begin appearing for Muta’s Wrestle-1 promotion starting next month.
This would be the second time a Tajiri-run promotion has folded. WNC lasted for two years, as did Smash.
