During a recent blog, WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross noted that WWE was pushing back the filming of Tough Enough and that it had forced “Stone Cold” Steve Austin and JR to postpone some plans the two had together/
According to someone close to the two, Ross and Austin were planning to debut a “two-man” show this past week in Las Vegas, NV. The comedy show would have been done in conjunction with the UFC 175 pay-per-view event but Austin couldn’t commit to the show as he was scheduled to film WWE Tough Enough in Orlando, FL. Of course, those plans fell through and Austin wasn’t notified until the last minute. By the time he found out, he wasn’t able to make it to Las Vegas to appear alongside Jim Ross.
Ross and Austin may still end up doing a “two-man” show in San Jose next year during WrestleMania 31 week and perhaps in other markets. Ross has finished up on his “one-man” tour shows for now, unless a booking is added before the football season begins.
Ross is currently working on his autobiography but plans to return to doing “one-man” shows in 2015. As far as the autobiography is concerned, Ross doesn’t currently have a publishing deal in place but is working alongside Scott Williams, who worked on books for Jim Duggan, Bill Watts and Terry Funk.
