UPDATE: Chris Jericho beating Bray Wyatt at Battleground on Sunday surprised a lot of people. This is true for WWE as well, as Wyatt was originally set to win the match. Betting lines showed that Wyatt was the clear favorite to win. As of Saturday afternoon, Wyatt was planned as the winner in creative meetings, but some time later Vince McMahon decided that Jericho would win instead.
The feud is expected to continue through SummerSlam next month and Night of Champions in September. The feeling is that Bray will take the win at SummerSlam and they’ll be even at one match a piece going into the Night of Champions pay-per-view.
Jericho’s last night with WWE is the RAW after Night of Champions.
ORIGINAL: According to sources, Chris Jericho was not at RAW last night. The angle where the Wyatt Family attacked him was taped on Sunday at Battleground. Jericho was in LA yesterday, doing promotional work for Fozzy’s new album, Do You Want to Start a War.
