Original Plans For Sheamus, Triple H At HIAC?, RAW Cancelled

Source: The Wrestling Observer Newsletter

— We previously reported that Sheamus missed last week’s RAW and SmackDown TV tapings due to a bad case of the flu. He was sent home just minutes after arriving to last week’s RAW as he was in no condition to perform. There were original plans in place to have a Rusev vs. Sheamus feud/match for the United States Title at those TV tapings. There was even talk of Sheamus dropping the title to Rusev as a way to increase Rusev and Lana’s anti-American heat going into SummerSlam.

— For what it’s worth, Triple H is being advertised for the October 26th WWE Hell in a Cell pay-per-view. It should also be noted that Brock Lesnar is not scheduled for the event despite rumors that he’ll be winning the WWE title at SummerSlam.

— The December 8th WWE RAW TV taping from Greensboro, North Carolina has been cancelled. No word on where the RAW TV taping will be held now or why the show was cancelled as of this writing.
