— The September 26th TNA live event in Enid, Oklahoma has been cancelled.
— We noted several months ago that TNA is being represented by The United Talent Agency as it pertains to TV negotiations, marketing, etc. For those unaware, the UTA takes 15% of whatever deals are made for all companies and celebrities. Although they are very well respected and good at what they do, this would be a major hit for TNA if the UTA were able to get them a TV deal. Basically, TNA would be forced to work with a smaller amount due to UTA taking their cut.
— The next TNA One Night Only PPV, which debuts in September, will be the 2014 World Cup event. Here is the synopsis for that event:
“Join Team Captains Kurt Angle, Bobby Roode, Eric Young and EC3 and the stars of Impact for a night of action!”
— Next month, the TNA Unfinished Business PPV will feature Team 3D as we noted earlier. Here is the synopsis for the show:
“Join us for a look back at the history of the most decorated tag team in professional wrestling and the newest inductees to the TNA Wrestling Hall Of Fame.”
