William Regal reportedly missed the trip to WWE SummerSlam due to health issues. He was originally scheduled to go with the crew to Los Angeles. According to the report, Regal has recovered and was fine as of last week.
Regal was also reportedly well enough to go to Los Angeles over the weekend to scout talent at PWG Battle of Los Angeles. For what it’s worth, the push to get Kevin Steen into NXT started from last year’s tournament when Regal was seen there checking out Steen’s match with Johnny Gargano.
