TNA lost a fair amount of viewers to fall TV last night, though their core audience stayed behind. iMPACT! Wrestling drew 969,000 viewers and a 0.3 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic. The viewership is down 12% from last week, but the demo rating is even.
The show was up against the season premiere of South Park, which drew 2.4 million viewers and a 1.4 demo rating. This suggests what we’ve known for a while: iMPACT! has a loyal audience that can’t be swayed away by much, though expanding that audience is a tricky thing for them.
The household rating will be available later.
