— The advertised dark match featuring Randy Orton vs. Dean Ambrose in a street fight did not take place after last night’s WWE SmackDown TV tapings in Albany, New York.
— In addition to Rey Mysterio, NXT tag-team The Ascension was brought to Buffalo, New York for WWE RAW this past Monday night.
The Ascension are scheduled to debut on the main roster in the near future. In fact, people in the WWE merchandise department were told to begin working on ideas for Ascension merchandise, so that they can hit the ground running on television.
For what it’s worth, The Ascension were also at Tuesday night’s WWE Main Event and SmackDown TV tapings in Albany, New York and worked a dark match prior to the show. The duo squashed an enhancement tag-team and received a decent reaction from the Albany crowd. Rey Mysterio was not in Albany on Tuesday and flew home following his meeting with Vince McMahon backstage at Monday’s RAW in Buffalo, New York.
