Major Backstage Update On Rey Mysterio’s WWE Meeting

Here are some additional details on the backstage meeting with Rey Mysterio and WWE officials regarding Mysterio’s future in the company. The meeting included Triple H and Vince McMahon and as previously reported, Mysterio was apparently not interested in returning to WWE TV.

The meeting reportedly took place in Buffalo, New York on November 3 before RAW. McMahon apparently wants Mysterio to return to the WWE, but Mysterio is said to not be interested. The meeting was run by McMahon, despite Triple H being in charge of the overall day-to-day operations in the company.

While the meeting apparently did not go well, it is believed that Mysterio will work out a compromise with the company to work some more dates before the end of his current WWE contract, which is set to expire at the end of April 2015. This compromise could have Mysterio working regular dates from the period of now until WrestleMania 31.
