Curtis Axel worked the last set of NXT TV tapings and will be facing Hideo Itami on a future episode of NXT TV.

Word is that Axel will take over the role previously held by Tyson Kidd in NXT. That is to be the main roster guy that adds some star power to the brand, while helping to prepare developmental talents for the main roster.
