AAA was set to hold Rey de Reyes on March 15 but had to be postponed due to bad weather in Guadalajara, Mexico. It was originally set to happen at the Plaza De Toror Nueva Progreso arena in Guadalajara. It was eventually scheduled to happen last night at the Auditorio Benito Juarez, an indoor venue that’s fifteen minutes from the Plaza De Toror. Due to permit problems, and March 16 being a major holiday in Mexico, the event was postponed again.
It’s now being rescheduled for a third time and will happen on Wednesday night at Auditorio Benito Juarez in Zapopan. The show will lose Alberto El Patron vs Brian Cage due to scheduling issues. It will still feature Rey Mysterio’s first match after WWE. He’ll team with Myzteziz (the original Sin Cara) against El Hijo del Perro Aguayo and Pentagon, Jr.
