WZR Radio Errors, WWE Job Opening, Superstars Matches

— My apologies for the second hour of WZR Radio this week. I knew exactly what needed to be done but there was nothing I could do to fix it without stopping and re-starting the stream! I was in a no win situation with it so we ended early. Sorry for this and we’ll get all the production issues resolved in time for next week.

— WWE has posted a job opening for a Vice President of Talent Brand Management on Variety.com. No salary details are included.

— WWE issued the following press release today: WWE(R) COO Donna Goldsmith to Participate in the J.P. Morgan Global Technology, Media and Telecom Conference on May 17th STAMFORD, Conn., May 11, 2010 — World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. (NYSE:WWE) announced today that its Chief Operating Officer, Donna Goldsmith, will participate in the 38th Annual J.P. Morgan Global Technology, Media and Telecom Conference, on May 17, 2010, in Boston, MA. Ms. Goldsmith’s remarks are expected to begin at approximately 2:30 p.m. ET. Also, a replay of the presentation will begin shortly after the actual presentation time and will be available until August 17, 2010.

— WWE has decided to go forward with the Curt Hawkins and Vance Archer pairing as the duo officially debuted as a tag team at tonight’s WWE Superstars taping in Buffalo, New York. The debuting tag team defeated two local wrestlers in a squash match. Following the bout, they cut a quick promo with Hawkins reminding everyone who they were and vowing to “make an impact.” Hawkins and Archer formed just last week, which saw them quickly defeat two competitors in a dark match. Other matches scheduled to take place on this week’s episode of Superstars on WGN America are as follows:

* Dolph Ziggler vs. Chris Masters
