Hideo Itami defeated Adrian Neville in a first-round match. Neville was about to win with the Red Arrow, but Itami recovered before Neville landed. Itami got Neville in the corner and hit the running knee for the pin.
Finn Bálor defeated Tyler Breeze in a first-round match. The funny part was that Bálor came out at the same time as Roman Reigns (for Axxess) so this place got very loud with cheers from all sides. Julie couldn’t see the match as well as the last since the line moved, but Breeze got hit with two kicks at different times – one to the jaw and one to the cheekbone that made everyone cringe from how loud the hits were. Bálor got the pin.
Michael Cole entered the ring for some reason and was booed loudly. Triple H joined him and gave a speech about Ultimate Warrior, then introduced Dana Warrior and her daughters. to unveil a life-sized Ultimate Warrior statue. Great moment.
Hideo Itami beat Finn Bálor in the tournament final to earn a spot in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. A surprising end to the tournament. Itami is going to Mania. Good match. Maybe we finally get the GTS?
