According to sources, WWE NXT Superstar CJ Parker asked for his WWE release because he reportedly was unhappy with his role in developmental. Parker became frustrated with his role in NXT, and felt he wasn’t going to be called up to the main roster after being with WWE for four years. He then decided to ask for his release.
He plans to continue wrestling, and wants to work internationally (with goals of working for New Japan Pro Wrestling) to improve his skills and to make a name for himself. The two sides parted on good terms as Parker was told by WWE officials that he would be welcomed back in the future.
