UK Promotion FIGHT! NATION Joins The NWA – Details Inside

— It was announced today, via press release, that the UK based promotion FIGHT! NATION has joined the National Wrestling Alliance. This is part of the NWA’s plan to expand their reach into the UK and Europe. FIGHT! NATION will now be known as NWA FIGHT! NATION and the first card under the new banner and affiliation will be at the Islington O2 Academy, London on May 15th. NWA FIGHT! NATION will crown the first NWA British Champion and the tournament will begin at the May 15th event. President R. Bruce Tharpe had the following comments on the announcement…

“The National Wrestling Alliance is equally excited to have FIGHT! NATION as part of the NWA family. This is just the beginning of a measured expansion of the NWA into Europe and we are looking for this valuable partnership to continue long into the future!”

— Ring of Honor is promoting a rematch between War Machine and The Briscoes on April 25 in Hopkins, Minnesota.
