During Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Hall of Fame speech last month, he mentioned Austrian wrestler Otto Wanz as an influence. However, Wanz didn’t start his career until Schwarzenegger already moved to the US.
It’s believed that the reference to Wanz was included due to a conversation Schwarzenegger had with John “Bradshaw” Layfield. JBL spoke to Arnold before the ceremony and mentioned his time overseas working for Wanz.
