Eastern Tennessee wrestler Ron Wright passed away this morning. He had recently been moved into hospice care. He was one of the featured stars of the area from the 60s to the 80s. Ron and Don Wright were a tag team in the Knoxville circuit where they were frequently the Tennessee tag team champions.
By the 1970s, they owned part of the promotion. He later became a manager for names like The Mongolian Stomper and The Dirty White Boy.
