“Will admit I was not prepared for Hideo Itami. So quick and so talented. WWE NXT has exploded! It is no longer and developmental league at all. It now officially a top brand! Unreal talent there! I would love to see the top NXT talents go head to head with the top WWE talents in a tournament.”

— MCW announced that its next event, Xtreme Measure, is set for Saturday, May 2. The event will be held at the Unique Sports Academy in Waldorf, Maryland. WWE Hall of Famers Jerry Lawler and Rikishi are scheduled to appear at the event.

— Maryland Championship Wrestling posted a video of the MCW doing impressions of Ric Flair. The video is available in the player below. Flair recently made an appearance at MCW Homecoming last Friday.
