Scott Hall was reportedly kicked out of a wrestling event in New Jersey over the weekend for being too drunk to work. TMZ reports that Hall was set to do a meet and greet at the Skate and Surf Music Festival in Asbury Park on Saturday but appeared to be intoxicated.
The site reports that Hall was given several chances to sober up but didn’t and was told to leave. Hall reportedly refused and demanded to be paid until security showed up and escorted Hall off the property.
Ricky Otazu, who promoted the event, told the site, “The event was too well run for us to make a fool of ourselves by allowing him to appear. We will no longer be associated with him until he gets his life in order.”
Hall has had several highly-publicized battles with alcohol and rug addiction over the years but had fought back from them recently with the help of Diamond Dallas Page. TMZ contacted Hall and those close to him for comment but got no word back.
